Billie Eilish paid tribute to Taylor Hawkins , drummer of the Foo Fighters , during her performance at the 2022 Grammy Awards last Sunday, the 3rd.
Alongside her Finneas , the singer performed the track "Happier Than Ever," the title track from her second album, released in 2021, wearing a Hawkins t-shirt.
The Foo Fighters won three Grammys at the awards ceremony, but none of the band members were present due to the death of Taylor Hawkins on March 25th . The band was scheduled to perform at the event, but the performance, as well as all shows announced for this year , was canceled .
