O ex-Smiths, Morrissey, anunciou um novo álbum só de covers intitulado California Son.

O anúncio foi feito através do site oficial, revelando que Morrissey gravou versões de músicas de Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell e Roy Orbison.

California Son foi produzido por Joe Chiccarelli e é composto por 12 faixas. Ainda não há data de lançamento. Já a setlist pode ser vista abaixo:
