O ano está chegando ao fim e o calendário de lançamentos de rock e heavy metal já está praticamente fechado.
Em 2022 tivemos o novo álbum do Megadeth, The Sick, The Dying… And the Dead!, marcando o primeiro sem o baixista Dave Ellefson, o novo do Slipknot, The End, So Far, que marca o fim do contrato da banda com a Roadrunner Records, e o retorno de Alexisonfire com Otherness.
Ozzy Osbourne também retornou ao estúdio com Patient Number 9, enquanto Red Hot Chili Peppers celebrou a volta de John Frusciante com dois álbuns: Unlimited Love e Return of the Dream Canteen.
Na cena nacional tivemos grandes lançamentos como Necropolítica, do Ratos de Porão, Way of Perdition, do The Damnation, e Unleeched, do Claustrofobia.
