Rudy Sarzo , former bassist for Ozzy Osbourne , revealed that getting Sharon Osbourne isn't as difficult as many people might think nowadays.

Friday Night Feedback channel , as transcribed by Ultimate Guitar , the musician recalled joining Ozzy's solo band in the early 1980s, when they recorded the live album Speak of The Devil (1982). Sarzo got the job through a recommendation from Randy Rhoads , with whom he had already worked in the band Quiet Rock , because Ozzy needed a bassist located in Los Angeles. "Luckily, (...) because in any other city, they would have chosen someone else," the musician said.

In addition to the favorable location, host Lee Jackson pointed out that Sharon also needed to approve the choice of Sarzo, but the bassist explained that the businesswoman and wife of the Prince of Darkness is a reasonable person.

“You know, it’s not hard for Sharon to like anyone, just don’t be a jerk and she’ll like you,” he said. “Let me put it this way: the universal view of Sharon forty years ago was very different, because nobody knew who she was. She wasn’t under the microscope of social media at that time, she was basically… Not necessarily Ozzy’s tour manager, but she worked for her father, Don Arden , who was the band’s real manager.”
