The cheeses in limited edition versions are from the German factory Aldi
Aldi, the German cheese factory, is offering limited-edition cheeses whose names will be parodies of popular songs. Among them are tracks by Guns N' Roses and Def Leppard .
According to the company, six new Happy Farms cheeses will be available starting February 6th. Among them are “Sweet Cheddar Of Mine” and “Pour Some Gouda On Me”. In time for the Grammy Awards (which take place on Sunday), the cheeses will cost $3.49.
The other cheeses pay homage to Cyndi Lauper (“Girls Just Wanna Have Fontina”) and Michael Jackson (“Billie Goat Is My Lover”). Also Bonnie Tyler (“Total Eclipse Of The Havarti”) and Wham! (“Wake Me Up Before You Goat-Goat”).
These are limited editions, so each store will only receive a few units.
