Foo Fighters release thrilling full Madison Square Garden comeback show; watch it!

The band was the first to perform a full-capacity show at the arena since the start of the pandemic

Foo Fighters shared the full recording of the band's return performance to Madison Square Garden on July 20, 2021, which marked the first full-capacity show held at the arena since the start of the pandemic.

The epic performance, both because of the anxious anticipation for the return of live music and the opportunity for the band to perform tracks from the album Medicine After Midnight (2021) live, as well as the celebrations of Foo Fighters' 25th anniversary, also resulted in a mini-documentary called The Day The Music Came Back .

On the day of the highly anticipated show, the band was the target of protests by groups opposed to the safety measure that mandates the presentation of proof of COVID-19 vaccination, with exceptions only for those under 18 or people with a medical indication not to receive the vaccine. These groups were required to present a negative test to access the show, something the band has repeated at all performances this year, even resulting in the cancellation of a date in Minnesota after the venue "refused" to follow the protocols .

Lasting almost three hours, the Foo Fighters' comeback show at Madison Square Garden also marked the debut of Dee Gees , a sort of alter ego band inspired by the Bee Gees , one of the bands honored in the HAIL SATIN , an album released on July 17th.
