It seems that Demi Lovato intends to distance herself from pop music on her new album and explore her taste in heavier music in the project.
When she was still a Disney star, the singer hid her liking for death metal . In an interview with Inked , the album was described as "more rock than anything else," with no references to R&B or soul.
Currently, Demi Lovato's favorite bands are Royal & the Serpent , with whom she collaborated on the heavier-sounding track "Choke On It," and Turnstile .
