The band Boko Moko , from Minas Gerais, will release their first album, " Antes Tarde do que Nunca" (Better Late Than Never ), with a lot of humor. The cover features the character Teobaldo , who likes rock music but is afraid and ashamed to request it because it's considered music for "square" people, as described by the band members.
The group brings a retro rock style from the interior of Minas Gerais and is formed by musicians Breno Veloso , Fernando Kakau , Gui Carneiro and Vitor Guimarães .
The album, which doesn't yet have a release date, will feature nine tracks with lyrics inspired by personal experiences from the countryside, with sharp humor and social urgency. The first single, "Sempre Brilhará" (It Will Always Shine), is already available on digital platforms – listen below.
