Blackmore's Night has cancelled its entire scheduled US tour due to unspecified medical reasons.

The band, formed by guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and his wife, vocalist Candice Night, performed only two of the six scheduled dates for the tour. Previously, the band had postponed two shows that were scheduled in New Jersey and Delaware. Now, they have canceled the rest of the tour, without giving many details.

The announcement came via a post on guitarist Blackmore's official Facebook page :

"All Blackmore's Night shows have been postponed at this time for medical reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Blackmore's Night had been away from the stage since May Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore. In August of this year, Candice Night revealed that Blackmore is currently dealing with "three main" health issues.

According to radio station 93.5 WTPA, the return to the stage, at the November 9th show in Alexandria, Virginia, was marred by a problem. "The show was delayed because Ritchie Blackmore's wife said he needed to go to the bathroom while the band was starting to play the first song," the radio station reported.

Ritchie Blackmore suffered a heart attack in 2023 and is under constant monitoring.
