“Iron Man” was the track chosen for the big announcement

The halftime show at the Super Bowl last Sunday, February 4th, may not have been rock (that honor went to pop singer Justin Timberlake), but the famous commercials were full of idols of the genre.

Steven Tyler teamed up with Kia Motors and looked 40 years younger to unveil the 2018 Stinger, and Alice Cooper appeared in a financing company commercial where he performs his hit song "School's Out".

Now, a commercial has been released announcing the return of two-time Olympic snowboard champion Shaun White, set to the tune of Black Sabbath's "Iron Man".

The iconic music plays for 60 seconds while scenes of White's past victories are shown, ending with the message that he will return during the event in Pyeongchang, North Korea, which will take place this year.

Shaun White, one of the best snowboarders in the United States, failed to qualify for the 2014 Winter Olympics and shortly afterward suffered an accident that resulted in 62 stitches, 22 of them on his face.

Despite the setback, White managed to bounce back and will be part of the 2018 Winter Olympics, hence the choice of the "Iron Man" sash.
