The American band Velvet Chains will be opening for Slash's shows in Brazil, which will take place in January and February of this year.

The tour will pass through Belo Horizonte (January 29th), São Paulo (January 31st), Rio de Janeiro (February 1st) and Porto Alegre (February 4th). Tickets are on sale at the Eventim website .

The tour promotes 4 , Slash's fifth solo album and the fourth studio album by Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators (SMKC), which features Myles Kennedy (lead vocals), Brent Fitz (drums), Todd Kerns (bass/vocals) and Frank Sidoris (rhythm guitar).

Velvet Chains

The band, formed in 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada, brings a hard rock and alternative rock sound that should appeal to Brazilian fans of Slash.

Velvet Chains consists of Burton Car on guitar and backing vocals, Jason Hope on drums, Lahi Cassiano on guitar and backing vocals, and Nils Goldschmidt on bass – the latter being the only original founding member of the band.

To date, the band has released the EP Morbid Dreams (2022) and three singles: “I Am The Ocean”, “Stuck Against The Wall” and “Eyes Closed”.
