Twisted Sister 's album Stay Hungry has just been re-released in Brazil. The CD is once again available after years out of print, in a special commemorative edition.
Originally released in 1984, the band's third studio album includes hugely successful songs such as "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock," as well as the ballad "The Price." The album was a huge success, selling over 3 million copies and achieving multi-platinum certification in the United States.
The re-release follows the double format of the 25th anniversary edition, released in 2009: in addition to the 9 remastered original tracks, disc 2 features 17 previously unreleased outtakes. These are demos from the original sessions, recorded in December 1983 at Nino's Studio in New York, and there is also a new track, 30, recorded especially for this edition, with the 1984 lineup.
The re-release is part of a partnership between Wikimetal and OPorto da Música, which is bringing to the Brazilian market several classic rock and heavy metal titles that were not previously available, and even some that had never been released in the country.
Albums have already been released by bands such as Metal Church, Overkill, Ratt , and many more, with more albums expected to arrive in stores each month. The album is already available for sale in major stores and online via Wikimetal Store .
