Twisted Sister: Dee Snider reveals that Clive Burr influenced the hit song "I Wanna Rock"

Dee Sniderfrontman Twisted Sisterspeaking to VRP Rocks's unmistakable galloping rhythm Iron Maiden into the worldwide hit "I Wanna Rock" from the album Stay Hungry (1984).

Snider: "I remember writing 'I Wanna Rock' doing Maiden's galloping rhythms and suddenly I was in the groove. I told Clive [Burr] while he was in Desperado, 'I have to be honest… 'I Wanna Rock', that's your rhythm, man.'"
