Twisted Sister announced this Thursday, the 5th, the cancellation of their highly anticipated reunion tour celebrating their 50th anniversary. With shows scheduled at major festivals around the world, the reunion would have marked their return to the stage after a hiatus since 2016.
In a statement released through the band's social media , the cancellation comes after vocalist Dee Snider faced health problems that would prevent him from fulfilling the planned tour schedule. According to the statement, the decision was made jointly by the band members and the singer's medical team, prioritizing his full recovery.

Due to the sudden and unexpected departure of Twisted Sister vocalist Dee Snider, due to a series of health problems, the band has been forced to cancel all scheduled shows, starting April 25th in São Paulo and throughout the summer."

Bangers Open Air Festival
The Bangers Open Air event will take place at the Memorial da América Latina in São Paulo on April 25th and 26th.
The organization announced the full lineup with Angra , Smith/Kotzen, Fear Factory, Jinjer, Killswitch Engage , In Flames, and others. In addition to the previously announced acts, Within Temptation , Feuerschwanz , Primal Fear, Tankard, Black Label Society , Nevermore, Onslaught , and Crazy Lixx .
The 2025 edition stirred up the headbanger community in São Paulo between May 2nd and 4th, delivering a memorable festival with acts like Doro , Sabaton , Avantasia Wikimetal 's exclusive coverage : Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th.
