Google released a list of the most searched terms on its search engine in 2017.
Among many, the names that stood out the most were Tom Petty and Chester Bennington, who made it into the TOP 10, ranking #7 and #9 respectively.
Petty, Bennington, and Chris Cornell were among the most searched names in the losses and deaths category. The Linkin Park frontman also appeared on the "musicians and bands" list at #2.
