Soundgarden sues Chris Cornell's widow to recover the band's social media accounts.

According to the band's allegations, Vicky is holding "login information hostage."

The dispute between the members of Soundgarden and Vicky Chris Cornell 's widow , has taken another turn in court. This time, the band is demanding access to the group's social media accounts.

Following an unfavorable ruling by a judge regarding Vicky's claims to the copyrights of her late husband and accusations against the band's manager, Rit Venerus , the members have now initiated a lawsuit to gain access to Soundgarden's social media accounts.

According to NME , the lawsuit was filed in Washington. In official documents, musicians Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron , and Ben Shepherd join the band's manager in claiming access to Soundgarden's Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vimeo, YouTube, Snapchat, Tumblr, and other social media accounts, allegedly in Vicky's possession. The widow is also accused of changing the passwords to the band's official website and "holding login information hostage."

With the lawsuit, Soundgarden is requesting the return of login information and the posting of a message on the profiles informing that the band has "temporarily suspended its official social media accounts due to pending litigation.".
