Os Soundgarden will be collaborating with singer Brandi Carile to honor Chris Cornell on Record Store Day .

The tribute will come in the form of new versions of "Black Hole Sun," from the 1993 Superunknown Badmotorfinger .

The songs were recorded at London Bridge in Seattle, an iconic space that, in the 90s, brought together the twins from Soundgarden and Carlile at the beginning of their careers, and was also the recording location for other artists from the city.

The re-recordings will be made available as singles on September 26th, which will be the second of three Record Store Day Drops , i.e., the releases for the event.
