Slipknot is one of the last bands you'd expect to hear on the playlist of an 8-year-old girl with a pink bow in her hair, but little Taylor Jade Campbell shatters that stereotype – and thank goodness!
The young vocalist leads a youth band, with musicians aged between 11 and 17. Besides Taylor, the band formed for the cover includes Natalie Vinnage (piano), Nate Tharp (drums), Connor Meintel (bass), Eli Dykstra (guitar), and Alex Sutherland (rhythm guitar).
Recorded in 2019, the video comes straight from a time when teenage gatherings were still possible, and was released this year by the O'Keefe Music Foundation , which specializes in promoting free music education for children and teenagers. Profits from this version of the song will be donated to the foundation.
