Implode is expected to be part of Slayer's new album.
Slayer debuted the track "Implode" yesterday, the 23rd, in a surprise show at the Revolver Golden Gods awards in Los Angeles. The new song is expected to be part of the band's new album and features production by Terry Date (Pantera, Deftones).
Implode was made available for free download on the official website as a thank you to fans for waiting 5 years for a new Slayer recording. Kerry King comments: "They waited for us, so we'll make it worth it .
Slayer will enter the studio later this year, and the release of their next album is expected in early 2015. The CD will be released for the first time by Nuclear Blast, ending their partnership with producer Rick Rubin's American Recordings label.
