Slayer concluded their farewell tour last Saturday, the 30th, with a sold-out performance at The Forum in Los Angeles. The show marked the last of the legendary band's career, who have been touring for a year and a half, bidding farewell to their fans .
The performance was the band's second consecutive night at The Forum and featured a 20-song set, which ended with the classic and powerful sequence of "Raining Blood," "Mandatory Suicide," and "Angel of Death." When the last song finished, the band members remained on stage for a few minutes, absorbing the energy and adoration of the fans.
Lead singer Tom Araya thanked the audience and revealed: “I’m going to miss you all. But the most important thing is that I want to thank you all for being a part of my life. Good night and take care,” he said emotionally.
According to the website Metal Injection , several celebrities attended Slayer's final night on stage. Kirk Hammett , King Diamond , Post Malone , Jason Momoa , and Joe Manganiello were in the audience. The show also featured Primus , Ministry , and Phillip Anselmo & The Illegals celebrating the end of the tour.
