Slayer's agent in an interview
According to Slayer's booking agent, Scott Sokol, the band is composing new material.
In an interview with Billboard, Sokol said: “Slayer is definitely working on new music. More about that will be revealed in the coming weeks.”
Sokol also commented on the fact that the band did not interrupt the tour when Jeff Hanneman passed away in May:
"I think if it had happened while Jeff was in the band it would have been different. But he hadn't been touring with the band for about 3 years and it wouldn't have been good for anyone to cancel the tour.".
Slayer will be touring the United States on October 22nd.
