Fan put car up for sale to buy tickets.

Slayer fan who recorded a video to sell his car and get tickets to the band's show in Los Angeles in November received a pleasant surprise: the band recorded a video in response, gifting him a pair of VIP tickets to the show.

Jake recorded a video based on an American car commercial, saying he needed to sell his car because tickets to the Slayer concert in Los Angeles weren't cheap. In the Slayer video, bassist Tom Araya watches the fan's commercial and declares: “Dude, you can't sell your car to buy Slayer tickets. Your car is crap! You know what, we'll give you tickets.” At the end of the video, the band writes that Jake's name has been put on the VIP list.

Slayer is currently in the studio recording a new album, expected for 2015. The album will be their first released by Nuclear Blast, and also their first without the late guitarist Jeff Hanneman, co-founder of the band.
