Rick Sales Slayer 's longtime manager , spoke in an interview about the band's farewell tour.
The thrash metal legends will conclude their tour on November 30th, completing 18 months of shows. They performed over 140 shows in 30 countries and 40 US states. The idea was to give the majority of the band's fans one last chance to see them.
“The band has always had a lot of integrity,” Sales said. “There are some things that should continue. I totally understand that they made the decision to stop touring. That doesn’t mean it’s the end of the band. Just the end of touring. I always thought of it as a ‘going out on top.’ They made that decision. And I think it’s the right one.”
