Slash says he's preparing new material for Guns N' Roses.

The guitarist said he's taking advantage of the time off the road to work without rushing.

Slash said he's keeping busy during quarantine. In an interview with Sweetwater , the guitarist revealed he's working on new material for Guns N' Roses.

“I’ve been going from the studio to my house and from home to the studio, writing and recording by myself,” he said. “I’ve been playing a bit with Duff McKagan and Axl Rose , doing things like that, so we’re working in that way.”

The guitarist reveals that he is focused on Guns N' Roses material and is not working on collaborations or anything outside the band. “These are crazy times, it will certainly go down in history. But it's been a very creative time, so that's good – staying calm and being patient and writing without feeling pressured by it or doing it while traveling, which I normally do.”

It is not yet known when the new Guns N' Roses album will be released, but fans certainly don't want to go through the same wait as with Chinese Democracy , the band's last album released in 2008 after more than 10 years in preparation.
