Slash , who frequently tours Brazil, shared a post on Instagram regarding the flooding in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. As previously reported on Wikimetal , the band Guns N' Roses also released photos and statistics about the tragedy.

On the guitarist's Instagram, photos of the flooded cities were posted along with a more personal message addressed "to friends in Porto Alegre." Here's a translation of Slash's message:

"Thinking of all my friends in #PortoAlegre suffering from this flood disaster. God be with you. I hope the water recedes very soon! ; )"
