Slash has released the lyric video for "The River Is Rising," a new single from his project with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators .
The official music video had already been released at the end of October. Now, the band has released the lyric video with footage of the band in live performances and the song's lyrics, written by Kennedy and the Guns N' Roses .
“The lyrics explore how humanity can be brainwashed or indoctrinated by some dangerous idea. After recording the demo a few times, I felt confident that we had found the album opener. For me, it’s an important track,” Kennedy commented about the song (via Blabbermouth ).
The track is part of the album 4 , Slash's fifth solo album and fourth with SMKC, which will be released on February 11, 2022, with 11 songs on the tracklist.
