Slash is preparing to release his new album, titled 4 , alongside Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators on February 11th via Gibson Records.
To celebrate the new release, the group has released three samples of the work: the singles "The River is Rising , "Fill My World ," and now, the most recent, "Call Off The Dogs."
Slash and the band recorded the album in Nashville, at the historic RCA Studio A with producer Dave Cobb ( Chris Stapleton, John Prine, Jason Isbell, Brandi Carlile ). The goal was to capture the feeling of the live performances and transfer it to the album, so the entire process was recorded live in the studio , including the guitar solos and vocals – a first for the group.
The Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators project consists, of course, of Myles Kennedy (vocals) and Slash, in addition to Todd Kerns (bass, vocals), Brent Fitz (drums), Frank Sidoris (guitar).
