Do you guys cope well with past traumas? Slash does.
The guitarist spoke in an interview with Consequence of Sound about the new additions to his line of instruments with Gibson , and the reason why he was determined to release a GoldTop Les Paul Standard . “Back in the late 90s, a bunch of my guitars were stolen from my home studio. I actually managed to get almost all of them back, but I never knew exactly who was behind the theft. And one of the guitars I couldn't get back was a GoldTop that was stolen.”
“So I’ve been trying to find another GoldTop to replace it over the years,” he recalls. “Then at some point I found out who was responsible for the theft, not too long ago, and her name was Victoria , so I decided to name the guitar after her!”
