The track already has a teaser video showing the musicians in the studio
A few weeks ago, legendary guitarist Slash confirmed that a new studio album with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators was in the works, and this Wednesday, the 25th, he released the first single from the project worldwide, “Driving Rain”. The track also already has a teaser for the music video showing Slash and company in the studio.
Titled Living The Dream , the album will be released on September 21st by his own label Snakepit Records in partnership with Roadrunner Records. The successor to World On Fire (2014) will mark the fourth time the guitarist has gone into the studio with Kennedy on vocals, while Brent Fitz is responsible for drums, Todd Kerns for bass, and Frank Sidoris for guitar.
To coincide with the announcement, Slash revealed that he will be touring the United States around the time of the release. The tour will take place during a break in Guns N' Roses' Not In This Lifetime tour , in which the guitarist is supporting his bandmates Axl Rose and Duff McKagan .
