Slash ft. Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators kicked off The River Is Rising Tour '24 – Rest Of The World last Tuesday, the 23rd, in Mexico City, and to the surprise of fans, they played “Don't Damn Me”, a track from the album Use Your Illusion I Guns N' Roses had never played live before .
The band also played the song at shows in Bogotá, and in that performance, The Conspirators' bassist Todd Kerns takes over lead vocals while lead vocalist Myles Kennedy takes a break.
During an interview with the SlashFrance in 2014, the Guns N' Roses guitarist was asked if he would play the song with Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators, “There are too many words. You know, it's a cool song and all that. I think even with Axl , we never did it because there were too many breathless words, and that makes it really impossible to play it live.”
