Slash performs covers of "Whole Lotta Love" and "Come Together"

Slash performed at Celebrating Willie Basse: A Night of Music & Stories in Hollywood.

The Guns N' Roses played three songs at the event, including covers of "Come Together" by The Beatles and "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin .

Willie Basse died in October after a long battle with cancer, at the age of 62. Basse was best known as the vocalist and bassist for the metal band Black Sheep . The band included members such as Slash , Paul Gilbert ( Mr. Big ), James Kottak ( Scorpions ), and Randy Castillo (Ozzy Osbourne, Mötley Crüe).
