The company bought the roundabout at auction
In the small Polish town of Jaworzno, a roundabout was named this week in honor of the late Slayer guitarist, Jeff Hanneman.
The art company Art-Com was responsible for the name, after buying the "symbolic" rights to the location for one year at a charity auction. The company named the street and created a plaque to be placed there, where they wrote "Jeff Hanneman – Unforgettable Guitarist of Slayer".
Hanneman died last May from alcoholic cirrhosis, but he hadn't played with Slayer since 2011 when he contracted necrotizing fasciitis after being bitten by a spider.
