A poll on Wikimetal indicated that Rocket to Russia , the Ramones' third studio album, is the best of their career.
The album was released in 1977 and features great Ramones classics such as "Sheena Is A Punk Rocker," "Rockaway Beach," and "Do You Wanna Dance?".
Produced by Tony Bongiovi and Tommy Ramone, the album was considered by Rolling Stone to be one of the best of the year in '77 and "perhaps the funniest rock album of all time".
Rocket to Russia surpassed Ramones and Leave Home , which came in second and third place, respectively.
