In an interview with an Argentinian radio station, Slayer drummer Paul Bostaph was asked about the differences between playing in the band now and when he was first a member, from 1992 to 2001.

"It's different because after some time away, coming back to the band is like coming home ," said Bostaph.

The drummer revealed that the most difficult part for him in the show is the end of the song “Jihad,” and said that when he's live he plays by instinct: “That's what you want to achieve. You want it to be natural. Sometimes, when you play the same song repeatedly, you've played it so many times that you go on autopilot and your mind starts to wander. That's when you mess up.”

Slayer will be playing this weekend in São Paulo at the Maximus Festival. Get your tickets here.
