Paul Bostaph responds to Lombardo's comments

Bostaph says he's tired of Lombardo's comments

Slayer drummer Paul Bostaph refuted Dave Lombardo's claims that he worked on all the drum tracks for Slayer's new album.

Bostaph comments: “I heard he said he wrote all the parts of the new album. Funny, I didn’t see him when he was working on the songs .

The drummer, however, says he doesn't want to create conflict: "It's one of those things that I understand where he got it from, but there are two sides to every story and I'm getting a little tired of hearing this. But I'll leave it at that because I don't want to take it personally."

Bostaph revealed that Slayer is currently working on the vocal parts for their next album: “I’m away from the studio, but I’ve been receiving the tracks with guitars and bass already, and now they’re doing vocals. It’s going to be heavy.”

Slayer's next album will be the first released by Nuclear Blast, as well as the first without the late guitarist Jeff Hanneman, co-founder of the band. The song " Implode ," Slayer's first to be recorded with Gary Holt on guitars and the first with Paul Bostaph on drums since "God Hates Us All ," can be heard here .
