The partnership between Myles Kennedy, Slash, and The Conspirators has lasted almost a decade and has become an established act, with successful world tours and dedication from the members amidst their other individual projects. Initially, however, the vocalist tried not to create expectations for fear of being disappointed.
Initially, Kennedy was invited to sing on two songs from Slash's first solo album in 2010, which featured collaborations with artists such as Ozzy Osbourne and Chris Cornell . The successful partnership led to the singer being invited to join the album's promotional tour and record a full album with Slash and The Conspirators in 2012.
Despite having great chemistry with the band from the start, the Alter Bridge tried not to create expectations about the project's future, mainly due to expectations related to Guns N' Roses . “I’m very realistic, unfortunately. But you don’t want to create expectations for anything in this industry, it’s heartbreaking and I’ve already had my heart broken,” the musician explained to the Deep Dive . “So I was like, ‘Okay, I’ll be a part of this and I don’t know what will happen’ (…) I didn’t want to delude myself into thinking this would be everything forever.”
4 at the beginning of last year and in January 2024 will come to Brazil to promote the work in a series of shows on The River Is Rising Tour '24 – Rest Of The World.
The group will be performing in the country in Belo Horizonte (January 29th), São Paulo (January 31st), Rio de Janeiro (February 1st), and Porto Alegre (February 4th). Tickets are on sale at the Eventim website .
