You had a unique talent, you were intelligent but you were a troubled man who left a mark on the history of Heavy Metal. You will be greatly missed, my friend.”

Steve Di Giorgio: “Rest in peace. A very talented, eloquent man, a sentimental vocalist, a friend and king of Metal, Warrel Dane. He not only died on the same day as his friend Chuck Shuldiner but also in the middle of recording his album.”
RIP to a most talented, articulately eloquent, emotional singer, friend, and long time king metal vocalist Warrel Dane. He not only died the same day as his friend Chuck Shuldiner, but also in the middle of recording an album. The River Dragon has spoken.
