The fourth season of Stranger Things is drawing to a close and is set to feature an epic scene for headbangers. The Netflix shows Eddie Munson playing a guitar solo in the Upside Down – and the song chosen for this epic moment may be by Metallica .

The person who came to this conclusion was TikToker Ian Garbinato , guitarist for the band O Cara do Metal , who used clips from the Stranger Things to try and figure out which song was chosen for the character's solo.

Initially, fans believed it was "The Final Countdown" by Europe , or "Rainbow In The Dark" by Dio , Ronnie James Dio 's widow herself , but the guitarist and content producer disagreed and explained in a video why he ruled out those songs from the list of possibilities.

In a new video on the subject, currently with over two million views, the guitarist's choice was "Master of Puppets" by Metallica, a track that would also fit the chronological timeline of the series set in 1986.
