Megadeth will perform on February 27th in Tokyo, and there are rumors of a guest appearance by Marty Friedman , who lives and has a solo career in Japan. This performance could be the first time in 23 years that the former guitarist has taken the stage with the band, as he was a member between 1990 and 2000.

Speculation began with a statement from Marty during an interview with Next Guitar Hero : “At the moment, I can’t give details. But we’re going to play together… And I believe it will be a magical night” (via Metal Injection ).

Furthermore, an article about the possible surprise appearance was published in Japan's Burrn! , but was soon deleted.

Last Monday, the 6th, Dave Mustaine announced via Instagram that the show called They Only Come Out At Night will have a worldwide broadcast. The livestream, which will begin at 6 AM Brasília time, will be available for two days and will also include behind-the-scenes footage and records of the trip around the country.

The performance, which is part of the promotion for the latest album The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead! (2022), will take place at the Nippon Budokan arena and tickets are already on sale at the Dreamstage .
