Chris Broderick and Shawn Drover leave the band
Megadeth guitarist Chris Broderick and drummer Shawn Drover have announced their departure from the band. The announcement of their resignations was made in statements yesterday and today. There has been no statement from Megadeth or Dave Mustaine so far.

Shawn Drover:
“After 10 years, I have decided to leave Megadeth to pursue my own musical interests. I want to thank Dave Mustaine and the entire Megadeth family, as well as all the wonderful Megadeth fans around the world!!! I truly admire you all. Stay tuned for my next musical journey.”.
Chris Broderick:
“Due to artistic differences, it is with great reluctance that I announce my departure from Megadeth to pursue my own musical direction. I want everyone to know how much I appreciate the number of fans who have respected and accepted me as a member of Megadeth for the past seven years, but now it’s time to move on. I wish Dave and everyone in Megadeth all the best. I’m working on some of my own material and I hope you all enjoy it when it’s released.”
