Drummer Marky Ramone spoke with Wikimetal about the show he will be playing with his band Blitzkrieg at Clash Club in São Paulo . With opening acts Zumbis do Espaço and Toyshop, Marky brings his band with their new vocalist, Johnny Fontane.

Check out an excerpt from the interview with Marky below, along with full details about the show:

WM: This is your second tour in Brazil this year. Did you fall in love with this country? What happened?

Marky Ramone: Ah, it's the reaction of the fans, the friends I made during the tours. When the Ramones were together we used to come here, and I've been coming here alone since Johnny, Joey and I decided to retire. And I kept playing, I didn't want to stop. So I keep playing Ramones songs and there's a whole new generation in Japan, Argentina, America, China, even Vietnam and Russia that has never seen the group and I want to go to these countries because the songs are too good not to be heard.

WM: What are you going to play this time?

Marky Ramone: 35 Ramones songs.

WM: That's awesome! And what's the lineup for your band like?

Marky Ramone: It's the same guy who was here last time, but with a new singer. Michael Graves' wife said she wanted him to stay home because he has two children to raise, and he decided to do this. And I respect him a lot, we remain friends. But the new singer is amazing!
