Lzzy Hale will be featured in the new Judas Priest . The Halestorm used her social media not only to share the news but also to thank the band for their importance in her professional and personal life.

The artist wrote: “I am extremely honored to be a part of this documentary. Judas Priest is the cornerstone of why I am the vocalist, instrumentalist, bisexual woman, and rocker that I am today. Thank you so much to Tom Morello for including me in this epic documentary!”.

Currently in production, co-directed by experienced documentary filmmaker Sam Dunn and Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine , The Ballad of Judas Priest promises to recount in detail events ranging from their beginnings to their rise to the top of heavy metal.

In a 2024 issue of Metal Hammer , Lzzy talked about how she dealt with her sexuality. In 2011 she accidentally came out as bisexual: “I was doing those 'ask me anything' things on Twitter, and I had forgotten that I hadn't spoken publicly about it.”

“The question came from someone who wanted to know how to come out to their family, and I said, ‘Well, speaking as a bisexual woman, this is how I handled it.’ And everyone was like, ‘Hey… you’re bi?’ So it was totally an accident, but apparently Rob Halford did the same thing, and he and I had the chance to talk about it when we came out to them in Auckland. It was a very strange coming out for me, but I wasn’t worried about anyone finding out. If anyone asked, I wasn’t going to lie,” she revealed.

The lead singer and guitarist of Halestorm is an LGBTQ+ activist and often speaks out about how coming out as bisexual has helped her connect with fans in the LGBTQ+ community.
