Drummer talks about his former band
Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo spoke about his disappointment with the members of Slayer. When asked about the low points of his career, Lombardo mentioned January of last year, when he was pulled from shows in Australia.
"It's sad, because I realize now that they weren't really my friends. They were work colleagues. I lived and hung out with them as if they were my friends. I thought, 'Wow, these guys care about me,' but it wasn't really like that.".
Lombardo also spoke about his health and how he tries to stay clean: “I started Philm when I realized that Slayer, in terms of health, was deteriorating. Not just with Jeff, but Tom and Kerry too. Kerry should have been careful. Well, I'm not going to tell him that.”
