Kerry King talks about terrorism and Rock N' Roll.

Slayer guitarist Kerry King spoke in an interview with a Belgian website about the terrorist attacks in Paris, commenting that he is surprised that religious extremism took so long to attack rock music. Check out his statement:

“I’m surprised it took all this time for terrorists to attack a rock concert. Because they hate rock music. They hate our way of life. They hate our freedom and the fact that we have fun. And of course, that’s very bad. What happened makes everyone think twice before risking their life to go to a band’s concert. But if you stop going to concerts, or stop doing them, you do what the terrorists would like you to do. It’s very important to keep doing what you do, what you love to do, all the time. And you know, I’m not the kind of guy who spends his whole life worrying all the time. We took planes right after 9/11. We played shows right after Dimebag was murdered at the concert. Sure, things can go wrong. But you could very well walk out of that building and get hit by a car. Just do what you like to do and stop worrying. I’ve written a lot of songs about the negative influence of organized religions. What happened in Paris is just another one.” "For example, 'I don't believe what ISIS believes, and therefore I should die.' That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life. People have been killing each other for centuries because of organized religions."
