In an interview with Rolling Stone, Slayer guitarist Kerry King spoke about US presidential candidate Donald Trump:
"I'm certainly not a political analyst, but I think Hillary Clinton is the safe, correct choice. Trump is a circus. I'm not even going to apologize to Trump's supporters. I think the reason he's so popular is because he's the political version of MMA. He's sensational as a wrestler, and that's why ordinary America loves him. He's the biggest liar I've ever seen in politics. I mean, they're all liars, but he's an outrageous liar.".”
The American magazine said that King is likely to receive criticism from his more conservative fans, to which the musician replied: “People have to make their own decisions regardless of who their friend, their wife, or anyone else is going to vote for. People have to be individuals. It sounds like I'm talking about religion, doesn't it?”
