See the chosen ones

In an interview with Revolver magazine, Slayer frontman Kerry King spoke about the band's setlist for their current European shows and discussed the songs he most enjoys playing:

“'When The Stillness Comes' is a really good song live. The only time we took it out of the setlist was when it was a daytime show, and then the energy isn't the same. And 'You Against You,' these two songs work really well together because you have the angriest song followed by the most punk song on the album. I might have to separate them because we've been doing it this way for quite a while now. But I like having them in the setlist. We'll see. We just try to make the best setlist possible, not for ourselves. Of course, there are songs we like to play more, but luckily the fans like them too, so it's not like I'm making the setlist for my own benefit.”.

Asked about his favorite songs to play live, Kerry replied: “Absolute favorites? I like to play 'Raining Blood', I like to play 'Hate Worldwide', I like 'Disciple'. I play in a band that I would definitely be a fan of.”
