On September 18th, the world will mark 50 years since the passing of the legendary Jimi Hendrix , and to honor the guitarist, a new documentary, titled Music, Money, Madness… Jimi Hendrix in Maui , and the live album, Live in Maui .

The production, which hits theaters on November 20th, aims to show the behind-the-scenes of the posthumous album Rainbow Bridge , released in 1971, and also shows the behind-the-scenes of Hendrix's performance at the foot of the Haleakala volcano. The 1970 show, considered fundamental to the album's concept, aimed to highlight the movement and spirit of the Hawaiian hippie counterculture; however, the images of the event were too psychedelic, which ultimately delayed the release of the material.

The release will be available in various formats such as double CD and Blu-Ray or triple LP and Blu-Ray, featuring covers and inserts as colorful as the presentation promises to be. Click here for pre-order.
