Jimi Hendrix: Listen to an unreleased cover of Muddy Waters' "Mannish Boy"

The track is part of the musician's new release

As previously announced , a new Jimi Hendrix album will be released featuring thirteen tracks recorded between January 1968 and February 1970.

Both Sides of the Sky will complete the trilogy of unreleased songs by the guitarist. Valleys of Neptune was released in 2010 and People, Hell and Angels in 2013. The new album will feature the same sound engineer as the other two, Eddie Kramer, who has worked on all of Hendrix's projects since his death.

As part of the promotion for the new work, the track "Mannish Boy," a cover of Muddy Waters, was made available to the public.

Both Sides of the Sky will be released on March 9th by Sony Legacy Recordings in various formats: CD, digital, and a double 180-gram vinyl.
