One of the greatest voices in rock, and possibly in music in general, holds the position of vocalist and founder of the British band The Who: Roger Daltrey. The musician is one of the most influential and awarded artists in the genre.
Honored by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Roger Daltrey has led the band since 1964, which together have sold over 100 million records and produced hits such as "Baba O'Riley," "Pinball Wizard," and "Won't Get Fooled Again."
In his solo career, Daltrey has released eight studio albums, and as an actor he has participated in 30 feature films, as well as plays and guest appearances on television series.
Recently, the musician revealed that he will release his autobiography in the second half of 2018. At the time of the announcement, he confessed that it took him three years to develop all the content of the book, as he needed to remember exactly when and where certain events occurred.
During his last visit to Brazil with The Who, the vocalist took the opportunity to launch a limited edition of his champagne , and part of the money received from the sales of the drink will be donated to the NGO Teen Cancer America , founded by Roger and guitarist Pete Townshend, which helps in the treatment of the disease in teenagers.
