Roger Daltrey, lead singer of The Who, gave a recent interview to Uncut and revealed that he doesn't know if the iconic band will release a new studio album.

“Will there be another Who album? I don’t know! There’s no record market anymore!” Daltrey explained. “Everyone talks about streaming, but have you seen what artists get out of it? It’s a joke!”

Roger Daltrey also commented on Who , The Who 's 12th album released by Universal Music via Polydor in December 2019. He felt the production cost was too high, another factor that discouraged the singer: “It was great to release an album, something the fans liked, and I was very proud of it. But a lot of money was spent making it,” he explained. “It got completely out of control and ended up costing me money. I can't keep doing that,” he concluded.
